Read the following notes carefully before sending any letter:

  • To make sure that your email are not stolen by others and that you receive the reply from the mailbox of the Director General of National Fire Agency, a “confirmation letter” will be sent to you automatically by the system. Please open the mail and click on the attached link. Once the letter is confirmed, we will get back to you as soon as possible. If you do not receive the “confirmation letter,” check the junk mailbox” first. Any letter without your confirmation will be rejected.
  • Letters regarding the same case without obviously new evidence will be processed collectively for that specific case without further notice.
  • In respond to the implementation of Personal Information Protection Act on Oct. 1 2012, your information will not be provided to anyone without your permission. However, all government agencies have their legal duties and professional division of work, your case will be relayed to the competent authority for responding when your email is received. As a result, your personal information, such as name, telephone number, home address and email address, will be relayed to the competent authority along with your email.
  • If you are requesting identity confidentiality due to the violation reported or considering the possible information security risks associated with email transmission, paragraph 2, Clause 62 of the “Document Processing Manual” specifies:“…those classified as “confidential” shall be delivered by a carrier in a sealed package,” and paragraph 1, Clause 27 of the “Rules for information security management for the Executive Yuan and subordinate agencies” specifies: “data and documents of confidential nature shall not be transmitted through email or any other electronic means.” Therefore, it is advised to send such materials in writing seal in a packaged marked as “confidential” to NFA at 8F., No.200, Sec. 3, Beixin Rd., Xindian Dist., New Taipei City 23143. NFA will relay the package to the competent authority based on the responsibilities.
