On 2023/10/04, the National Fire Agency (NFA) released the project "Water-based Environmental Fire-Extinguishing Agent Research and Development", a part of the "Open Selection of Various Research and Development Projects” of the Fire Technology Research and Development Office. According to analyses, commercially available water-based fire-extinguishing agents are very common. To avoid any doubts about competing with the people for benefits, the NFA will no longer conduct related studies thereto.
